NATIONAL COOPERATIVE HOUSING FEDERATION OF INDIA(NCHF)
1. Management Development Programme for the Senior Personnel of Housing
Cooperatives from 19-22nd February, 2007 at Jaipur.
2. Orientation Training Programme for the personnel of Housing Cooperatives at Mussoorie from 24-27th April, 2007.
3. Study visit for the Board of Directors of NCHF and Managing Directors of Apex Cooperative Housing Federations to Pondicherry Cooperative Building Centre during May, 2007.
4. National Seminar on Housing Cooperatives during September/October, 2007.
5. A Symposium during Cooperative Week Celebrations in November, 2007.
6. A Conference of the Chief Executives of Apex Cooperative Housing Federations during November/December, 2007.
7. The regular publications like monthly ‘NCHF Bulletin’, ‘Housing Voice’ and half yearly Hindi Patrika ‘Sahakari Awas’ will be brought-out including Special Issues of NCHF Bulletin during World Habitat Day and Cooperative Week Celebrations.
8. Problems of housing cooperatives will be taken-up with the Government of India, State Governments,funding organisations and other concerned for amicable solution.
9. Efforts will be made to facilitate setting up of Multi-Purpose Cooperative Societies for Urban Poor and Slum Dwellers.
10. Data on the progress of house construction activities under the Two Million Housing Programme will be collected from cooperative organisations.
11. Properties of housing cooperatives will be insured under the General Insurance Scheme.

HINDUSTAN PREFAB LIMITED (HPL)
Hindustan Prefab Limited is a Govt. of India
Enterprise and does not strictly follow the pattern of Govt. of India.It has its flexible working as per
requirement of its business.
It is worthwhile to mention here that HPL has been
asked to sign MOU with the Ministry of HUPA.A draft MOU has already been submitted to DPE and the same has been discussed
by the Member Task Force constituted by DPE on 06-02-2007 with the Management
of HPL.
It is likely to complete finalisation of draft as soon as minutes of meeting dated 06-02-2007 are received from DPE.The MOU will be signed between CMD,HPL and the Honb'le Secretary, Govt. of India, Ministry of HUPA well before 31-3-2007.
